If you are using the latest version on Steam, download the AE build. The older build supporting 1.5.97 is still around to support people who have downgraded their installation or otherwise prevented updates.

Having crashes on startup after a game patch? Remove the files from Data/SKSE/Plugins and try again. Mods using plugins probably need to be updated. Before contacting us, make sure that your game launches properly without SKSE first. Also, attach skse.log, skse_loader.log, and skse_steam_loader.log (found in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/SKSE/) to any support requests. Entire Team Send email to: team@skse.silverlock.org
In case you're not aware yet, the CK for Skyrim got a long needed update today to eliminate the restriction on the size of files you can upload. Along with this, the upload form in the CK got a couple of minor tweaks to include a small space for a description as well as a box to input change notes for an update. The game's official launcher has also been updated (along with one steam_api.dll file) to go with this as the Workshop downloads will be sent through the Steam client now instead of the launcher. Both modules must be updated to make this work. It's currently in beta, so you'll have to select the beta options from Steam. Details here: -workshop-file-limit-is-now-limitless/
Be aware: Downloading this update will result in all of the loose vanilla and DLC scripts being deleted. If you have been editing them for any reason, either make backups of what you've done or install the update into a throwaway install and then copy the .exe to your normal ones after that.Once the update is processed, it will never bother the loose scripts again since the new archive will be what the build tracks. If you are updating to a throwaway folder, the following 3 files are all you need to copy to any real ones you're using for play or modding:CreationKit.exeSkyrimLauncher.exesteam_api.dll
Version 1.4.21.0.4 was released on 5 February 2012 (released for consoles on 9 February 2012). This is the same version as the third beta build. Those that were participating in the beta when this build was released would not have to download the update when it was officially released.[16]
An alternative solution is to launch Steam in Offline Mode or play without an internet connection. This would make you unable to download updates for any of your games, but would ensure that your downgraded version isn't accidentally erased by a surprise update.
Simply download and install Enderal - Forgotten Stories from Steam as you would with any other game if the above requirements are met.Once the installation is finished run Enderal through Steam and the Enderal launcher will show up. Here you will be able to switch graphic settings, access the .ini files or your save directory and launch the game itself.Enderal's steam installation does not mess around with your Skyrim installation. They can get installed at the same time. 2ff7e9595c
